21st Century ICT Pedagogy Conference: Teacher 2.0Teachers K-12 are invited to attend the South Western Sydney Region ICT Pedagogy Conference. The conference aims to inform all teachers, regardless of computer experience and expertise, how they can use a range of ICT to engage, and academically and creatively challenge students K-12. The focus is innovative practice across the curriculum underpinned by the principles of Quality Teaching. This year we are thrilled to present our internationally acclaimed keynote, Professor Yong Zhao. Dr Zhao is the Director for the Center of Teaching and Technology, Technology in Education & Educational Psychology, College of Education, Michigan State University. Our keynote will be broadcast via cutting edge practice in video conferencing. Workshop presenters will share resources, strategies, units of work and their students’ original knowledge products created in authentic contexts for a range of audiences, demonstrating a deep understanding of curriculum content and enhanced subject-specific learning outcomes. The conference is a balance of theory, practice and hands-on, skills-based workshops. Participants are encouraged to bring a fully charged laptop to maximise participation in the skills-based workshops.
